Call the restaurant. I assume they can make food to go.
We had some wonderful spicy food. Service was good, new server training. Missed craft beer on tap. Nice dinner and evening.
Unique place in downtown Lincoln. Good food and great atmosphere. No complaints.
We had a great experience at Blue Orchid! Our food was amazing! I highly suggest the blue crab fried rice, so tasty. Make sure you visit here when you can.
It's okay, food was good and pricey but restaurant needs improvement for the price that you pay the food. I thought this would be a romantic spot but this is more like a family get together or a business dinner.
I was very happy about the way that this restaurant was able to handle a soy allergy. The waitress was super helpful and helped me get some tasty curry.Unfortunately getting our food and getting our check took a pretty long time - this may have just been because we were quite a large party. Regardless, I will definitely be back
Honestly the best Thai food we've ever had. Service is always friendly but impossibly slow. Painstakingly slow.
Only bar I will ask the bartender to prepare a tequila gimlet. Eric is fantastic.
Food is amazing! .... but parking is terrible. If i order take out for lunch, it usually takes double the time for it to be ready and there is nowhere to park to pick up an order...
Very good food and ambience. Clean and modern interior, high ceilings with industrial look. Pad Thai was well made, flavors reminiscent of Bangkok food stalls. I thought the crab fried rice a little mushy but others liked it. Lamb curry was flavorful without overwhelming. Everyone loved the Crying Tiger. Parking is tricky but we went to parking garage across the street at the Graduate Lincoln hotel.
Best place in town.
So bummed! I’ve eaten here in the past but always for supper. Maybe it was because it was lunch. I don’t know... but the pad see yew was incredibly bland! Maybe they used old oil? I love Thai food because of the flavor! I was disappointed today ☹️
I am used to eat sushi many places I stayed at Hilton garden in accros the street so I did give it a tryQuality ok not very good or excellent it okFor an ok quality it was $$$$ very expensive no drink few pieces of fish 58.00
This is my favorite restaurant in Lincoln. I've never been disappointed in the food or the service. I can't recommend it enough. Of course that is my own opinion, but it's always been wonderful each time.
highly recommend, definitely a favorite of ours!
This is a spiffy place, it feels serene to me here so I like the environment. The food is simply delicious. I love the fresh flavors of the way they approach their unique and standard dishes.
Had the green curry, nice sweet and slightly spicy meal. Bit pricey for a lunch ($12 + tip) but this is quality over quantity. Not saying the meals are small, they are a good size. Everyone was happy at our table. Might be slightly understaffed for a lunch rush but the wait was minimal (6 people, 1 hour from sit-down to leaving). It has a nice relaxing atmosphere.
This has to be the best Thai food in Lincoln (in my opinion). You can't do wrong with the Drunken Noodles, the Pad Thai, or anything for that matter. Great lunch specials, quick friendly service and consistently good food. I try something new often and haven't been disappointed yet. Check out. You won't regret it, unless you just don't like Thai food.
We had Delicious green curry with Unlimited rice. Good ambience
Great food!! It is a but expensive, but work it if you want to spend some money. Also, nice wine and beer selection. It's in a unique location so you may have to search for it a bit
Great Thai restaurant near Lincoln's Haymarket! They have a very relaxed vibe, and food tastes great and is plated beautifully. Try their Lettuce Wraps and Basil Duck, you'll be glad you did!
Not a good overall experience. The food was okay and the servers were nice. But we waited 1 and a half hours for the food and they messed up some of our checks. I never got my change back. There is a 18 PERCENT EXTRA CHARGE IF YOU COME WITH 6 OR MORE PEOPLE. Only come here on a date or with a family.
I could here everyday!! I l love their pineapple red curry with shrimp. Their appetizers are really good, try the chicken tempura, the mini thai rolls, prawn cakes, no matter what you try you cannot go wrong. Just be cautious on the spicy level, I eat really spicy and some days was uneditable.
Amazing flavors! It was a bit hard to find this place at first, but it's worth tracking down. It is in the center of the block, you have to park and walk to find it. The menu has vegetarian and vegan options. The tofu was perfectly cooked. The Panang curry is among the best I've ever had! If you like Thai food or want to introduce it to someone, definitely stop and check this place out!
Amazing food and service. My all time favorite in town!
Service was slow, came to refill our waters way to often, which normally isn't bad but it got very annoying. Took over an hour for food, and my bill got messed up and got over charged. Never again, never again.
Got the Drunke. Noodles spicy to-go....delicious!
Amazing flavors customized for you! Love this restaurant!
I have been going to this restaurant for years. While I am a creature of habit and order the same thing (drunken noodles with tofu) my friends have all raved about how delicious their meals have been also. The service is always good, the food is always excellent, and the drinks are delicious! This is a great place to go for a romantic dinner with your partner or a group of friends. They also offer great lunch deals!
Good spice on several dishes, which I appreciate. Good sized portions, too.
Great place; delicious curry. Maybe not the most traditional game-day tailgate destination, but worth checking out.
Went there with a large group, service was super slow and we waited at least an hour for food. Food was mediocre to say the least. Two members of our party were overcharged. Will not be returning.
They have great food. Good place to go to try something different!
Great food as usual, good service. Ordered 2 dishes heat level 8, 1 I would judge 9, the other 6, not a problem for me on average.
Service was good but foods was so so. It's not authentic. Tom Yum Soup tasted so bland. Pad Thai was weak of sauce. Lad Nah was ok. Prawn Cake was great. Place looks nice but I think it was over-rating!
Basil fried rice was really good; all 4 of us loved our different entrees. Amelia was our server and she was fantastic. Had about a 15-20 minute wait on a Friday evening. We highly recommend Blue Orchid!
I've been to Thailand before and have had real authentic Thai food, but that was so long ago that I forgot what real Thai food taste like to have something to base Blue Orchid off of. So I don't know if Blue Orchid is close to being what real Thai food taste like, but whenever I come here, I always come out satisfied with the food and happy with the service. I have had the drunken noodles, pad thai, green curry, panang curry, basil fried rice, blue crab fried rice, and the khao soi. All are very good. Everything that I have had, I would order again except for the blue crab fried rice. The dish just has too much rice, not enough crab, and not much going on textually. Blue Orchid is a little pricey, but you get a decent amount of food. Definitely one of the restaurants I visit the most here in Lincoln!
Amazing food, upscale and beautiful environment, good service. Seems to be authentic Thai food, and it tastes so good. The dishes have the perfect amount of sauces (not drenched) and are flavor filled. I’ll definitely be coming back. The location was a bit difficult to find, so park at a garage or on the street once you’re close and then hunt down the place on foot with your phone map handy.
The basil fried rice was absolutely delicious. I could have eaten it all!! My husband ordered the red curry chicken and I wanted all of his too. It was spicy but we both loved it. Looking for awesome Thai food, find it here.
Outstanding food and service, reasonable price, friendly staff. Love this place!
Nice quiet place on a Thursday evening. Food was Amazing!
The Blue Orchid was a favorite spot when I lived in Lincoln, so I stopped in for lunch last week while back home for holidays. I remember the place being packed during lunch when they first opened, but this day it was mostly empty. I can see why! The service crew was drunk, spilled water all over place couldn't remember order, smelled like booze. Food was very slow, orders wrong and what did show up to the table was more of a gravy rather than a curry. Sad, was one of my favorites, never again.
The food here is phenomenal. I used to live in Bangkok for two years, whenever I am craving Thai foods, Blue Orchid is always be my #1 go-to place! Nice atmosphere, nice foods and great staffs! Drunken noodles and Pad Thai are amazing!
Ordered the cognac beef, spicy. It was great.
Great food and atmosphere.
Amazing. Always come here for my birthday
Our waitress tonight was excellent, and the food was delicious as always.
Great service and as always great food!
Awesome decor and ambience! Food is wonderful! Olivia is a stellar server!
Good food, not great. Overpriced. I got one meal that included steamed vegetables that's weren't seasoned at all, and there is no salt or pepper on the table. Service was mediocre, we received room temperature tap water when we arrived to a fairly empty restaurant on Friday night. Pad Thai was alright, but it had more tofu than chicken. The quality of food has decreased over the past few years. I used to eat here regularly, and it's clear why they aren't as popular anymore.
Really different interesting menu. Definitely worth checking out.
